We are thrilled to be recognised as a Winner for Outstanding Achievement in the 2016 Australian Charity Awards. This incredible award recognises FSHD Global’s commitment to addressing medical research into Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy.

Now in its fourth year, The Australian Charity Awards program recognises the dedication and achievements of non-profit organisations, charitable funds and charitable institutions.We are proud to have been the recipient of this award in 2013, 2014 and now 2016. As a partner program of The Australian Business Awards, the Awards highlight organisations that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that have significantly benefited charitable causes.

Initiatives are evaluated in accordance with the assessment framework and are scored across the key areas of Planning, Research and Development; Execution and/or Implementation; Impact and/or Outcomes and Performance Management.

The 2016 program has seen eight charities recognised for the Australian Charity Award for Outstanding Achievement culminating in an overall winner for the Australian Charity of the Year.

In 2016 FSHD Global has successful shifted the landscape of medical research and education of the orphan disease, FSHD within Australia and beyond. Being recognised for Outstanding Achievement, only highlights and rewards our patient, and corporate community for its pure passion, transparency and collaboration in finding a cure for a debilitating disease that affects thousands of Australian’s. We are both proud and pleased to accept this wonderful award.
