Dr Kishore Raj Kumar

Dr Kumar is a neurologist and clinician-scientist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Concord Repatriation General Hospital. He has devoted his clinical and research career to neurogenetic disorders such as FSHD. At Concord Hospital, he works in the Molecular Medicine Laboratory, a national centre for clinical genetic testing of FSHD. He also works in the Neuromuscular Clinic, where he diagnoses and manages a large number of FSHD patients. He is currently investigating new genomic approaches developed at the Garvan Institute to enhance and streamline FSHD diagnostics.
