A moment worth celebrating – the release of the interim report from Project Mercury

Project Mercury was established in 2023 to address critical challenges for clinical trials – ensuring safe and effective treatments reach patients quickly, equitably, and at scale. No single organisation alone has the global reach or resources to address these problems.

As part of a 10 country patient advocacy group collaboration alongside KOLs, clinicians and industry partners, we at FSHD Global Research Foundation have proudly represented Australia to remove barriers that may slow or stop therapies for our communities.

It has been such a worthwhile program. It’s great to reflect on where we have come and the work still ahead over the final 18 months of the project.

We greatly appreciate every member of the Global Task Force, and it has been wonderful to work together on our shared mission to fast-track therapies to our community.
