About: Research Interests Investigation of the role of epigenetic regulation of gene expression in normal muscle biology and in muscular dystrophy using facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD)as a paradigm. Cellular and animal models of FSHD are used to elucidate the pathway saltered in the disease and to develop and test possible therapeutic approaches.
