Awareness is key.

On 28 February 2017, the tenth year of Rare Disease Day will see thousands of people from all over the world come together to advocate for greater research into rare diseases.

Rare Disease Day has, and continues to collaborate with organisations globally in order to put on events, create media coverage, and ultimately raise awareness amongst the general public and policymakers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives.

FSHD Global Research Foundation will be hosting an afternoon tea with corporate sponsors DibbsBarker to raise awareness for Rare Disease Day and FSHD. We encorage you to do the same within your community. Share your story and raise awareness and funds for FSHD this Rare Disease Day.
